During Christmas time, we spent a night at this hotel which was perfect for our short stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming upon arrival and the room was very clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the fact that we had access to wireless internet, which worked well. The location of the hotel was great as it was only a short walk to the city center and the lake, allowing us to explore the city easily.

There were a few negative aspects during our stay. the smell from the sewerage system was unpleasant making it difficult to sleep at night.

Location: the hotel was adjacent to Chetumal and even a part of Belize, the lake, and all the main restaurants / bars. Had big size and updated room complete with a big nice bed and aircon, as for instance.

The construction workers at Hacienda were friendly and approachable. They made us feel welcome and were always ready to assist us. I'll recommend this hotel.
